Puppy Reunion!

While I enjoy the dog shows, this past weekend was the really fun stuff ... a puppy reunion!!

One year ago today our lovely Paris delivered an amazing litter of 12 beautiful healthy puppies, the first North American litter sired by our handsome Portuguese import Oscar. Since we didn't have a litter here this year, we thought it would be fun to host a birthday party and puppy reunion here for all of the pups born at Wunder in 2017.

We had 11 pups and their families come, most driving a couple of hours to be here. It was wonderful to have the chance to see these pups all grown up, and so special to see how central each dog has become to their families!

It's easy to get caught up in the dog show wins, and while show wins are nice and important to validate that I'm on the right track with the quality of my dogs, this day reminded me why I really do this. Because these dogs bring people, myself included, so much joy and it is the most satisfying thing in the world to be part of that!

I am truly so grateful for all of the wonderful families that love and care for these dogs so well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
