About Us

While caring for our whippets is a family affair, they are my passion.  I’ve had dogs my whole life, including large breeds, small breeds and rescues, and I can’t imagine life without them.

Once I had a family of my own it became a priority to ensure that my canine companions were a gentle stable temperament and healthy, an agenda that led me to my first whippet who captured my heart completely.

My introduction to the world of showing and breeding came through my sister-in-law Linda Chafe who showed and bred Cairn Terriers.   Her accomplishments and the joy she shared with her dogs in all they did together was amazing, and inspired me to consider getting more involved with my chosen breed.

I was very fortunate to connect with Joanne Boudreault of Forgetmenot Whippets, who has since become my mentor, partner, and very dear friend.  I cannot thank Joanne enough for her generosity in sharing some of her finest dogs with me, and an endless wealth of wisdom and expertise as well.

All of our whippets live in our home and are treasured members of our family first and foremost.  We breed carefully planned litters only occasionally.  Our dogs are health tested and certified clear of heart and eye issues before breeding, and their test results are registered with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.  Our pups are born and raised in our home as well, with lots of love and socialization to give them the best possible start.  Pups are sold to approved homes Canadian Kennel Club registered, with a written health guarantee, and lifetime breeder support.   You can check our Puppies page for more information on upcoming breeding plans.
