Some highlights from Erie Shores KC
We attended the Erie Shores Kennel Club shows on June 2nd and 3rd in Caledonia Ontario. This show cluster is always a highlight, both for the size and quality of the whippet entry and the fun had by the exhibitors. This year certainly did not disappoint as the local whippet clubs put on a great event, and we had some nice wins with our show team as well. Jake was awarded Select Dog at both the Friday All Hound Specialty and the All Breed show Saturday morning, finishing his Canadian Grand Champion title.
Jackson was entered in the WCEC Whippet Specialty on Saturday afternoon, where he also earned the Select Dog award AND First Place Stud Dog! What a thrill it was to show Jackson with his two beautiful daughters, and to see how much he has matured and grown in his show ability. I think he actually had fun out there! I sure did!!
