Introducing Ch. Night Flyer Da Roseira Brava … Welcome to Canada Oscar!!!
Well the past month has been full of activity here at Wunder, so I’ll be playing a bit of catch up in the next few posts. The first bit of news is hugely exciting for us, a joint venture between Wunder and Forgetmenot resulting in the import of this beautiful dog, Ch. Night Flyer Da Roseira Brava! Oscar is already a Portuguese Champion, and the sire of two beautiful litters on the ground in Europe.
Oscar’s picture first caught Joanne’s eye online, and with one look at his pedigree she knew this was a dog we needed to know more about. It took a year of emails, phone calls, and exchanging pictures and videos, but the long wait was worth it. In the end Oscar’s breeders Paulo Coelho and Clive Thoms kindly agreed to let Oscar come to Canada! Oscar arrived the first week of April, and to say he was beyond our expectations is an understatement. We couldn’t be happier with this beautiful boy! His smooth outline, beautiful angulation front and rear, gorgeous head and flawless movement are paired with the calmest sweetest temperament we could have hoped for!!!
As is the case with so much of my breeding program, I owe a huge thank you to Joanne Boudreault of Forgetmenot Whippets for the opportunity to co-own Oscar. Joanne has an amazing talent for finding exquisite whippets worldwide, and she coordinated the entire effort to get Oscar here. Oscar will reside primarily with Joanne, though he will be key to both of our breeding programs in the coming years, and I hope to support his show and stud career in any way I can. We’re both so excited to see what the future will hold for this very special dog!
