This striking black beauty represents a fusion of North American and European pedigrees that we are very excited to be incorporating at Wunder!
Cadence’s mother Tinker (Aperture Kirex No Wunder She’s Ab Fab) is sired by our Donnie out of a beautiful Aperture bitch bred by Julie Poole (AmGCh DC Aperture Red White and Boom ROM), and was entrusted to us in co-ownership with Julie. Cadence’s sire (Forgetmenot Joska Show Time) is the result of a precious IA breeding of Zach (MultiCH Hidalgo of Hungarian Diamonds) to Tiffany (Joska Forgetmenot Kiss Me) and carries some fantastic international bloodlines. I am incredibly thankful to both Julie and Joanne Boudreault (Forgetmenot) for sharing these precious dogs and pedigrees with me. We think the combination is stunning!
Cadence earned her Canadian Championship in very limited showing, with Best of Breed wins and group placements from the classes. We brought her out again for the 2025 National Whippet Club of Canada Regional Specialty, where she was awarded Best In Sweepstakes and went on to win Best In Specialty Show under whippet expert Dr. Lisa Costello DVM.
We are excited to have Kim Pritchard (Cariad) showing Cadence in 2026 as she works toward her Grand Championship.
Cadence Fun Facts: Cadence's passion is running and she is solid muscle under that shiny black coat! We hope to get her out coursing this year too, so she can do what she loves best.
