When Magnus was born, we nicknamed him ‘Biggie’ because he was the biggest in his litter. As he grew, it was obvious that he was special, so we renamed him Magnus meaning ‘big, strong and great’, and he has certainly lived up to his name!
Magnus finished his Canadian Championship in dazzling fashion winning Best of Breed, Hound Group 1st and Reserve Best In Show from the classes. He finished his American Championship with three 5-point majors at specialty weekends, garnering a specialty BOS from the classes and a huge Best Puppy In Show along the way.
Magnus also loves to run, winning first place in singles at his very first ASFA trial, certifying, and earning his first points toward his FCH the only other time he’s been out coursing. I'm hoping we can get back out and work on a running title for him next. I've never had a dog more bright and full of heart, Magnus always gives 110%!
Magnus Fun Facts: Magnus is my up for anything dog; he loves going everywhere with me and follows me around with a bright, inquisitive, ‘what are we doing next’ look that pretty much melts my heart. He’s remarkably obedient for a whippet and has never met a stranger.
Magnus is up to date on all health clearances (BAER tested normal 2022, CAER normal October 2023, ECHO normal October 2022). Live, fresh chilled and frozen stud service is available to approved bitches
