Evie is sired by our Jackson (Ch. Jetstream Forgetmenot Thriller) out of the very accomplished and lovely Karma (CanGrCh. AmGrCh. Lightfalls at Willowisp by Plumcreek). She is co-bred by Rebecca Gardner (Willowisp), Sue Nichols (Lightfalls) and Tiina Paulaharju (Tulanz), and co-owned by Tiina and myself.
Like Jackson Evie is calm and outgoing and like Karma she is confident and tenacious. Evie mirrors much of her dam and sire in her look and style as well. Her lovely outline, substance and excellent movement represent her pedigree beautifully. She is also one of the quietest whippets we've ever had and a huge cuddle bug.
Evie finished her Championship at 15 months of age at the highly competitive Caledon Kennel Club shows where she was awarded Best of Winners two days in a row and was honored with the Select Bitch placement at the 2018 Canadian National Specialty. Best showing memory with Evie was from the 2017 AWC Mid-West specialty weekend, where Evie went all the way to Best Puppy In Show in a massive entry. She placed in her class every year she was shown at the AWC National Specialty as well.
Unfortunately Evie was never bred as she developed ovarian cysts quite young. Today she enjoys life as a pampered pet with a wonderful owner who is a veterinarian.
