Brooke is bred by Kim Pritchard (Cariad Whippets), sired by our Jackson (CH Jetstream Forgetmenot Thriller) out of Abbey (AmGCh. CH Spellbound N Cariad’s Abbey Road) who I’ve long admired.  Jackson has not been used widely at stud and is almost 10 years old, so to have him selected to sire a litter for Abbey was so exciting! To have the opportunity to bring home a daughter from the breeding was way beyond exciting, it was a dream come true. 

 

Brooke was ‘the one’ from the first time I laid eyes on her.  She reminds me so much of her sire as a young dog!  Brooke is the only offspring we have from Jackson and the last link here to our very first breeding (fourth generation down from that litter).  We are so thankful to her breeder Kim for her generosity and kindness in sharing Brooke with us.

 

Brooke finished her Canadian Championship in less than two weekends almost undefeated.  She’s won one major and two major reserves in the US as well.  She needs to mature a little more before she will be ready for the specials ring, but we’re very excited about her future!

 

Brooke Fun Facts:  Brooke is not only like her dad in looks, but temperament as well.  She’s super calm and relaxed, can’t be bothered to chase plastic bags, but will stalk birds by the hour.
